REQUIREMENT: Teamspirit Group is a specialist Financial Services (FS) Marketing Agency with three core departments driving their award-winning client work; PR, Marketing Comms and The Studio. To share this expertise through social media, Samantha drove a brand building strategy using fresh thinking to push creative boundaries and brought out the strengths of each department for ongoing organic social content ideation and execution. For organic reach, Samantha leveraged the influential partners and relationships Teamspirit has within FS. 

Executing a brand building strategy involved demonstrating Teamspirit’s award-winning understanding and ideas in social, Samantha increased the content creation capacity from each department with a ‘social-first’ mindset for the group. The goal was to attract prospective clients and new talent as well as asserting Teamspirit’s industry leading position to current clients and partners.

CONTENT CREATION CAPACITY:

  • PR – drove senior exec and exclusive whitepaper content for the website and industry magazine placements, as well as developing external company relationships in the finance industry for event opportunities. 
  • Marketing Comms – submitted high-quality award entries, built philanthropic partnerships to help support FS startups, worked closely with Chime Ltd on shared event opportunities. 
  • The Studio – created social asset variations appropriate to each platform promoting the content from PR and Marketing Comms with thumb-stopping creativity, to show the quality of the work Teamspirit are capable of.  
RESULTS: Consistent creative posting over 3 years led to social becoming one of the key referral sources of traffic to the website:
  • 200% growth in impressions, engagements and clicks for year one
  • 100% YOY growth across all key metrics for subsequent years
  • Consistent 30% YOY growth in followers, across all platforms
  • Doubled referral traffic to the website from social media channels to 7.5%, outperforming email referrals by 250%.

EXAMPLE SOCIAL PLAN – Thought leadership event | Influencer Outreach | Social Graphics | Live video and tweeting

Creating and hosting a #DesignForPeople event in partnership with the Pensions Advisory Service. Samantha worked with the Teamspirit teams to facilitate the planning and creation of content for organic social use:

  • PR created whitepaper in partnership with the Pensions Advisory Service, with commentary from FS ‘Podstars’ influencers.
  • Marketing Comms organised main event chaired by Pensions Advisory Service and inviting many influential industry players, hosted at Teamspirit’s office.
  • Created ‘Podstar’ Sessions, an immersive half-time experience of short pitch sessions of their products in our bustling foyer.
  • Studio designed graphic images for use in the white paper and social media, shared in the lead up and post event to promote the whitepaper. Teamspirit’s Creative Director also sat on the panel. 
  • Social media team live tweeting using video and photos. 
  • Coordination of influencer attendees to share key industry insights and quotes to leverage their social networks.
